| The pictures in the gallery
are relatively large in file size to maintain image resolution so if you've
got a slow computer you better buy a new one or just wait a little longer
for the images to load! Due to space limitations we can only post a few pictures at a time but we try to change them as often as possible. If there is an image you have seen in the gallery but is no longer there e-mail us and we'll send it to you. Advice on Seeing Stereograms Sterograms can be a little difficult to see until you get the hang of it but it's worth the effort to learn how to see them. TIP 1: To see a sterogram you must look a little beyond the face of the image so that your eyes fuse the images in the picture. This is what creates 3D depth, your left eye seeing one image and the right another. To assist this process try going cross-eyed while looking at the picture or use an object like your finger or a pencil and focus on the object while slowly bringing it from the tip of your nose to the image. At some point the image should jump out at you. TIP 2: Seeing a sterogram on a computer can actually be easier. Change the lighting around you so that you get some reflection on your screen and try focusing on the reflection rather than the image. You can also try placing something about half way back on your monitor and focus on it, then, with out changing your eye focus, bring your eyes down to the image. Once you find a technique that works for you practice it and you'll soon be an expert at seeing sterograms. If you just can't see them don't get discouraged - there seems to be people out there who just can't for whatever reason. That's why we put other nifty "normal" pictures in the gallery. |
